Solution: "Lowepro was in the process of launching a new worldwide brand campaign for their line of camera bags. Their new tagline is "Lowepro | The Trusted Original" and along with their new branding, they wanted to launch a new series of product videos. Our mission was to create videos that would be more inspirational to photographers than their previous videos.
We proposed the idea that with each bag we interview a photographer who uses the particular bag as well as the designer who created it. A critical component was bringing the design team into the foreground so that people get a chance to meet the folks behind the brand. We wanted to give Lowepro a face, a personality, a soul to show just how dedicated, committed, and passionate their design team is. I think we succeeded."

Director's Notes: "This video was a lot of fun to make. We shot Luis' interview at the Lowepro headquarters in Sebastopol. He was really great to work with and it was fun to get a walk through his process. The entire team at Lowepro was eager to help and it was fun to be in the presence of so many people that seem to love their jobs. I have always had a huge respect for the Lowepro bags and in my own geeky way, I was a little star-struck to be inside their impressive headquarters.
Zoe's interview was shot at the foot of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco. It was unusually chilly that day and Zoe was a total joy to work with despite the cold and windy conditions. Her personality is so fun and natural and I really think that showed up on camera. We didn't shoot for very long because she was so at ease.
After her interview we went along the Embarcadero and shot a series in front of the Farmer's Market at the Dirty Girl Produce stand. Sierra was kind enough to let us shoot her produce and even let me film a little scene where Zoe was buying a few things. Thanks Sierra!
